Preparation of "Bocconotti"
- Start with the short pastry putting all the ingredients in a bowl.
- Work them until they form a compact dough that you wrap in the film and you will rest in the fridge for 30 minutes.
- Once it is taken up, roll it out with a rolling pin, on a floured work surface, for a thickness of about 3 mm.
- Now prepare the filling by chopping chocolate, cocoa, sugar, almonds, rum and cinnamon in a mixer.
- Transfer to a bowl and add to the egg, mixing.
- Grease the mold for the tartlets now and place the shortcrust pastry inside.
- Stuff with chocolate and cut circles with the remaining pastry.
- Cover with the newly cut circles and seal the edges well.
- Cook in a preheated oven at 180 ° C for 20 minutes or until they are golden brown.
- Once baked leave them to cool.
- Your "Bocconotti" are ready to be sprinkled with icing sugar and served.
